Description

Noyes Rhythm cultivates our natural sense of the rhythms of nature, resulting in freedom of movement and abundant creativity. Rhythm overflows from movement into our daily life, deepening our physical and spiritual well-being. Join us, and rediscover the simple joys of living in the present and feeling the earth under your feet.

The Summer Program at Shepherd’s Nine provides daily meals, periods of rest and quiet, periods of togetherness, and the experience of Noyes Rhythm throughout. Our farmhouse bell signals times of classes, meals and other gatherings. Glorious mornings are devoted to Noyes Rhythm movement classes and readings. Afternoons are for rest, time in nature, music making, artistic expression, other Noyes Rhythm experiences, and camp explorations. Evening dancing is an invitation to improvisational movement with beautiful live music by lantern light or under the moon and stars.

Monday supper is at the campfire with songs, and Saturday evening is our community performance night. We recommend a Monday to Sunday, weeklong stay. Each week has a unique focus.
